Small Wall Art
This
small piece made of batik fabric is 17.5" x 13.5". It is machine
quilted and has a hanging sleeve for a rod and has a hand finished
binding. The leaves are real leaves, scanned and printed on fabric.

Log Cabin quilt top
This
all batik log cabin quilt top has a large variety of fabrics in it. It
is 45.5" x 63.5". The logs are 1" wide. It would look good with 2
borders, a narrow and a wide one or finish it as is. There is a row of staystitching around the perimeter of the quilt.

One Block Wonder
This is a quilt top 46" wide x 55" from point to point. Also there
are two pieces of fabric, one is 7/8 yard and the other is 3/8 yard.

This group includes 28 pieced 11.5" blocks and 2 1/8 yards of the fabric shown at left. You could easily fill in with plain 11.5" squares cut from the fabric to make a larger quilt.

I
am cutting off my larger pieces of batik fabrics from my collection
starting in the early 1990s. They are all top quality pima cotton type
batiks, no loosely woven or dull finish batiks. They have all been washed and ironed.
I'm doing them in color groups so my second offerings are shown here and detailed below. Fat sixteenths are approximately the size of a sheet of standard copy paper.

Dick and Jane Winter fabric
Background for applique

This is a backing, fusible batting and raw edge batik strips. They are stitched down with 2-3 rows of straight stitching by machine with rayon embroidery thread. It is approximately 17" x 21.5".
